Berbatov to Miss Champions League Semi-Final: Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov will miss the first leg of the club's Champions League semi-final against Schalke on Tuesday because of a groin strain. Man U goes to Germany as overwhelming favorites to be at Wembley Stadium in the Champions League final May 28 against either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Just a feeling but I think this is a figleaf for Berbatov as I think he has for some reason fallen out of favor with SAF and just leaving him off the traveling squad without face-saving explanation would be too damaging.
