Former England international Graeme Le Saux talks about homophobia in football.

I remember my dad telling me, back when Le Saux was playing:
"According to the tabloids, Graeme Le Saux is gay."
"Oh? Because he's a Channel Islander?"
"Of course not. But he's been seen shopping with his wife."
"Well, that seals it."

Brian Wilson's filthy' fourth pitch drawing rave reviews
The thing reminds me of what I used to call the Domincan fastball, because so many young Dominican pitchers came up with these 90+ MPH darting fastballs that were virtually unhittable if they could throw it for quality strikes...but most couldn't, had to resort to secondary pitches that were not MLB quality and fizzled out.
The example I am thinking of right now was Jesus Colome; the first outing I saw him pitch, I didn't understand how anyone was ever going to hit a fastball that was 97 MPH and a foot outside out of his hand and on the corner when it hit the catcher's mitt. Problem was, that only happened 1/10 pitches, and the other 9 missed the plate by a foot or hit the middle of the plate.
If Wilson can harness that thing consistently, he's going to be pretty brutal (even moreso than now) to hit against.

Look, I'm a Derby County fan, so have enough problems. But who'd be an Arsenal fan?
Watching how they've contrived to throw it away this season, including the (albeit thrilling) draw last night with Spurs, I think I'd be lying on my therapist's rug, drooling and barking like a dog.

Yeah, well as an Arsenal fan, I lie on my dog's rug, drooling and championing our sense of altruism. While occasionally barking. Scratch me. Please.
