Kevin Durant calls Chris Bosh “a fake tough guy”: Kevin Durant and Chris Bosh had some words today in the Thunder’s loss to the Heat, and then spoke some even stronger words to the press post-game. In the first quarter, the two were involved in a small altercation of words that resulted in double technicals for both stars.

If the heat really are "The Heatles" (as Lebron puts it), then Chris Bosh is Pete Best.

I haven't heard any quotes attributed to Bosh from this incident, but I think Durant has been around basketball enough to know what constitutes the type of comment he (Durant) made.

When the going got toughest Reggie always delivered.
Bosh does not deserve mention in the same sentence as. Reggie Miller.

Well, it seems that Durant was trying to talk to his teammate when Bosh interrupted with some choice comments.
Bosh "acting tough" while a member of the Heat (a Hot?) is interesting since he was as wimpy as it gets when he was a Raptor. Howard and Garnett used to push him around and talk trash to him all the time. Hell, even Bosh's girlfriend talked more trash than he did.
I guess now that he's on a winner, it's easier for him.

Reggie was an all time great, for sure. However, when the going got toughest Reggie definitely did not always deliver. Zero championships.
Anyway, the point wasn't to diss Reggie. I just dont follow Durant's position that Bosh is a "fake tough guy" because he engaged in a little trash talk. Lots of non tough guys trash talk, Reggie being a one example, of many possibilities. I don't really think Bosh positions himself as a tough guy to begin with.

that cat fight makes reggie a tough guy? did he even land a punch?

Cat fight? People were literally trying to pull Reggie off of Kobe but you call it a cat fight? Ok.
The thing people seem to forget about Reggie is that he may not have won an NBA championship but when he talked trash, he backed it up. Dude was cold as ice.

Dude was cold as ice
Yup.
Add that Kobe's got a few inches and at least 20lbs on Reggie. People who messed with him learned quickly he wasn't backing down.

Bosh has a reputation of being soft forming the basis of Durant's comment.

The article is right. No one sides with Durant over Bosh in this debate because of their reputations.
What's funny is that it sounded like Durant wouldn't have said anything back to Bosh if he thought it was going to result in an actual fight. But, he could say that to Bosh because there would be no repercussions. That sort of reminds me of Blake Griffin articles where they say he is getting pushed around because he isn't willing to get into a fight. So, Baron Davis fights for him.

Oops, I meant the exact opposite of what I wrote.

From what I've heard reported, players generally say Durant is quiet and not much of a talker on the court. Bosh, however, seems to be getting more and more full of himself and now feels even more leeway to talk shit.
Hopefully Durant will be satisfied with the fact he's a dominant young player in the NBA, and Bosh is just one more big-mouth who needed LeBron and Wade to make him more relevant.
