I'm a Vikings hater, but I do hope they keep Joe Webb. Kid was terrific last night (and I had no idea he was so tall!). And it pisses me off that Frazier is rapid-fire quick to say that if Favre passes his concussion tests he'll be the starter for the last game. Way to kick Joe Webb in the balls after his awesome performance last night.

I don't know if it would really be a kick in the balls for Webb. He's clearly the Vikings' future QB and it wouldn't hurt him to let Favre play his very last game.

I don't think Joe Webb would be too put out by Frazier letting Favre start his last game ever. But I'm guessing Tavaris Jackson isn't very happy about any of this.

I was thinking about poor Tavaris Jackson as well. My mother was estastic watching this game. She's a HUGE Joe Webb fan. She's visiting me for the holidays, bounced aound the living room all night watching the game. She told me that Joe Webb was a quarterback in college (UAB) but was drafted as a wide receiver?

Aaron Rodgers outlasted Brett Favre, and Joe Webb will do the same.

Yeah, I guess Rodgers and Webb will make it past this Sunday.
I'm all for the Vikes moving forward with the Webb era. He looked pretty impressive last night, and probably should have been playing earlier this year.
Whether Favre is given one last start isn't a big issue to me, and I doubt it is to him at this point.
Speaking of Favre, it appears the league is going with a $50K fine for failure to cooperate.

Tarvaris Jackson will always be inextricably linked to the end of Brett Favre's career.
But good on the Vikes for finding Joe Webb.

Neither a fan nor a hater of the Vikings, but I'm at the point where I just want to see something good happen to them for a change, so last night's game was fun to watch.
Webb played well indeed, but by the fourth quarter, the Collinsworth rookie idolatry index had gone off the chart.
Hopefully, Collinsworth swoons don't carry the same jinx that Musburger man-crushes do.
