Not the first time he's done this to Ponting, but nice catch, Colly!

I'm beginning to feel a very odd sensation. I think I might be feeling... sorry for wee Punter. Far too many people making out it's all his fault. Why do the Aussies have such a silly system where he can't have the captaincy taken away without being dropped? I reckon his batting would suddenly improve immeasurably if someone else had to do all the other nonsense.
Favourite bit of TMS commentary from yesterday (when England had just taken their third wicket):
Aggers: "Welcome to the box, Jim. What do you make of Australia's start?"
Jim Maxwell: "I think this has been an absolutely fantastic start for Australia... I mean, we were 3 for 1 last time , so 3 for 28 is a massive improvement."
Boycott (missing the sarcasm utterly): "Poppycock!"

Red Sox sign Bobby Jenks for $12 million over 2 years. How awesome is it to see someone mention a player's "peripheral numbers" in a paper? Pretty awesome.

The Celtics-Knicks game last night was great to watch. When I lived in NYC in the early 90's I was a big fan of the Ewing/Oakley/Starks/Rivers crew. Looks like the Knicks may be back.
