Justin Timberlake, pop star and former NSYNC teeniebopper heartthrob, will take on the role of sports reporter for TNT and TBS, covering basketball, baseball, auto racing, college football and golf. According to a TV executive, "Justin's interest and enthusiasm not only in the NBA, but in all sports should help provide our broadcasts with a new, fresh approach."

Is he the one that wanted to go into space? If so, I'm going to be really bummed I didn't chip in.

No, kloeprich that was Lance something, the fat one. This is the pretty one. Which, btw, will be worse than Dennis Miller and MNF. Way worse.

oh good, another talentless celeb taking away a job from a deserving and hard working real person.

And, oh yeah, Justin Timberlake has, according to one gossip-monger (I just pass it on), had dinner with Mr David Beckham and Mrs Posh Spice Beckham.
Justin Timberlake said his dinner over the weekend with Britain's it-couple David and Victoria Beckham was, well, a little embarrassing. Apparently, the soccer captain and his pre-fab pop wife couldn't keep their hands off each other. "They're constantly groping each other. They're very much in love." But Justin said he didn't complain because David picked up the check.Whore.

And, jizzy crizzy, it's on TNT and TBS, Turner Country. Does anyone really care if he does color commentary for Nascar and Braves games? *says a prayer for those in Atlanta*

I was wondering the same thing, Bern ... IS there a record for most posts in one day? As for Justin ... who cares? What the hell do sideline reporters add to any sport except in football, where the downtime between plays allows for injury updates and quick bursts of overheard info? And if they wanted to add someone from N'SYNC (and I own two of their CDs — shaddup!), why not Joey Fatone? He was DREAMY in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding!"

Wait a minute. TNT carries a bunch of NBA games, and their halftime and postgame show is THE BEST. I'll cry if they allow that crap boyband "singer" (dancer) anywhere near a basketball game. Give him to NASCAR fans!

Dreamy, wfrazier? I guess I don't understand what women and homosexual men look for in guys because to me that mop he calls hair starts him pretty deep in the whole.

I dunno either, Bill. I think Justin Timberlake needs to hit a Sizzler, and soon. See some dud with a caved-in stomach on the cover of Rolling Stone just turns mine.

You know, at first, I thought I had a typo in there, i.e. "dud." On second read ... I rest my case.

Oh hot diggity, I hope there's some saucy choreographed dancing involved.
