Rookie Defenseman Has 14 Points in 16 Games: Since being called up in November, Colorado Avalanche rookie defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk has 14 points in 16 games. Before that, Shattenkirk had zero goals and zero assists in 10 games with the team's American League affiliate in Lake Erie. "I really don't think anyone saw this coming so quickly," said an unnamed Western Conference scout.
