Ian Poulter Drops the Ball: Robert Karlsson won the Dubai World Golf Championship Sunday, defeating third-round leader Ian Poulter in a playoff after his marking blunder on the final hole. Poulter dropped his ball on his marker on the green, causing it to move from its original position.

Tough way to lose a championship. Seems like we've seen a few of these this year.

Fully understand the need for the rule, just think it's a bit harsh given that it was pretty obvious that Poulter wasn't trying to gain an unfair advantage.

Reminds me of Leslie Nielson's quote in his golf video "remember son, no putt was ever made longer because someone marked it"
