Kyle Gets Buckets: Kyle Singler, a senior on the Duke Men's Basketball team and the 2010 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player, has become a Youtube sensation. The video has been featured on SportsCenter as well as on numerous websites. Kyle Singler is co-captain of the reigning National Champions and currently #1 ranked Duke Blue Devils. Kyle Singler is so special he gets two photos of himself on his locker, so that when the team does badly and Coach K punishes them by taking down their portraits, Kyle still knows which locker is his.

I don't think it's douchey to be OCD about basketball.

I think "douchey" is an inseparable modifier for "Duke," regardless of the individual player or video.

It was funny and endearing when the 12th man on the OSU bench did it. It comes across as smug and douchey (particularly in the context of the clearly derivative nature of it -- whether Club Trillion, which it obviously copies/invokes in certain particulars, or those Dude Perfect jackasses) when coming from an all American on arguably America's most hated team.
Plus what HJ said, although on that logic the qualifier is not technically necessary because the proper noun itself inherently includes all of the secondary meaning and associated adjectives.

I guess that answers the burning question of what the douchey Duke version of the Club Trillion video looks like.
