Hornets Open Season 6-0: The New Orleans Hornets have opened their season 6-0 with wins over Milwaukee, Denver, San Antonio, Houston, Miami and Milwaukee (again). They've held all six opponents to under 100 points. "Defense is our calling card," said coach Monty Williams.

Their defense has been much improved but I think the real difference is the health of Mr. Paul. I watched part of both the Bucks games and Chris Paul has my early season vote for MVP. The talk last year about Deron taking over as the best point guard in the league now seems a bit silly to me.
