I'm actually listening to the Herd as we speak and heard when he made those comments about Wall. I enjoy Cowherd's show even though sometimes he comes across as a jerk at times but us jerks have to stick together so I'll continue to listen.

Right, it's just how he comes across.
As a radio personality, his words are his actions, which speak louder than words.

I used to listen to Cowherd when it was the only thing on during my lunch. Horrible. He's like this every single day and I'd listen and get pissed off and then find myself listening the next day to see what topic he'd butcher. The only reason he talks about anything other than football is to try and be controversial as he thinks that makes more people tune in.

I don't listen to Cowherd, or any other talking head for that matter, and I do believe that the amount of intelligent discourse from such shows can only be measured by using a scanning electron microscope. I do occasionally listen to/watch a number of sports shows, but most are either local, and not of the call-in variety, or national pre-game types. While a number of these feature regulars who may best be called "blowhard", at least they have some degree of real experience in the sport they cover. I tune out the opinion, and listen to the factual analysis.
I'm sure that Cowherd probably knows more about the sports and individuals he talks about than his broadcasts let on. After all, one does not build an audience by being blandly analytical. Still, my credo remains: "Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one, but all of them stink."

Something Colin said back in February: "Cancer, it's something I feel like I'm giving to the country."

You sure he didn't say that he's cancerous to the country?

Nope, that's the exact quote, taken way out of context, but the exact quote.
