More Marathoners Running Barefoot: Although barefoot runners will represent a tiny number of the 43,000-plus runners in this Sunday's New York City Marathon, organizers report an increase in participants interested in the trend. "When I was growing up, I was barefoot a lot, so I could run gravel roads when I was a kid," said runner Rick Roeber.
