PGA Golfer Given 26-Stroke Penalty: While playing a tournament in China, PGA golfer Ryuji Imada was assessed a 26-stroke penalty for moving his balls 13 times one club length (per PGA rules) instead of one scorecard length (per Asian and European leagues). He finished the first round with a 24-over-par 97. "I'm an idiot," Imada said.

Amusing quirky story, but surely the more interesting part of the article is this paragraph:

"Ochoa, the Mexican star who retired last year at the top of her game, shot a 71 in both rounds to earn the $1.28 million winner-take-all check at the 36-hole, mixed-field event."

That's like leaving a party, then coming back at the last minute and stealing the cake!
