Larry Siegfried, 5-times an NBA champion on the Boston Celtics has passed away at 71. Known to Celtics fans as "The Bouncin' Buckeye from Ohio State", thanks to announcer Johnny Most, Siegfried was a college team mate of John Havlicek. After Siegfried's ABA team went under, Havilcek urged then coach Red Auerbach to give Siegfried a tryout. He stuck, and did quite well.
