Stern Hopes CBA Will Save 'Doomed' Franchises: NBA Commissioner David Stern would like to change the rules affecting lengthy contracts and guaranteed salaries in the next collective bargaining agreement. He says the current system leaves some teams "doomed by their past mistakes for inordinate lengths of time, so the fans can have hope." As you might have guessed, he's referring primarily to one team.

The only thing that can save the Knicks from themselves is forcing James Dolan, the worst owner in sports, to sell the team (and the Rangers too, while he's at it).

Otherwise, the Knicks will be doomed to mediocrity at best. Dolan, this past off-season, actually tried to rehire Isiah Thomas.
