Bud Selig must be thrilled. We are only a couple days into the MLB Playoffs and there have already been a host of mistakes by the umpires that have had a very marked effect on the results of the game.

Ask the Twins/Reds/Braves/Rays how they feel about the "human element" of the game.

I'm sorry, but if someone complains about pitch location and check swing calls as something that requires instant replay, they are nuts.

This is the problem with allowing instant replay in the first place (Pandora's box). Now that it exists in some fashion, people are going to go crazy by demanding it for everything.

I'm betting those same people are also the ones that complain about the length of baseball games.
