MSU coach Mark Dantonio is back in the hospital with a blood clot - can't coach the Spartans today.

The clot is in his leg - not a lot of concern being expressed about it at the moment, but I hope they get the clot taken care of. Those leg clots can travel, and when they do, they can end up in some bad places.

Clots in the leg are no joke...just ask Greg House...

Don't care how early in the season or his tenure it is, Lane Kiffin proved tonight he isn't a Tier One head coach. Letting Washington run the clock down to nothing with three timeouts in his pocket was one of the worst instances of clock management I've seen in years.

Which probably doesn't fuss the athletic director at USC, because it'd be a shame to waste a couple of years on a Tier One head coach while your team is in NCAA purdah. Though I'd expect Kiffin to be surprised when he's told to clear his desk in December 2012.
