If owlhouse has another week like last week, Schultzie will be the front-runner for the Costanza. Think we could get SpoFi mentioned on TSN and actually present it to him? Ooh, what a field day Peerless Perry would have with this.
Anyway, for what they're worth, Schultzie picks:
Calgary by 4
Saskatchewan by 8
Winnipeg by 5
and
Hamilton by 9

Hmm, some new goodies over at SportSelect ... gonna have to figure out how I can burn my money even faster over there. In the meantime, PointSpreads for this week are:
Red & White -21/2
Green & White -41/2
Orange & Black -51/2
Black & Gold -01/2

Shouldn't owlhouse have more points for nailing the winner and spread in the Saskatchewan game?

I was stuck in the bush miles from anywhere. Montreal by 7. I decided to make camp for the night, and light a fire. Saskatchewan by 14. But all my matches were broken and the charge on my mobile phone was fading. BC by 7. Who should I call for help? Edmonton by 14. Easy - the Pakistan cricket team, because...
/Oi, where's my extra point?

Hope riders lose all their shoes & are forced to play in their socks. Sure hope Bell & his receivers are able to have a decent game, Boyd returns to his breakout form, D dominates, & special teams play solid both ways... I can only wish & hope.
I'm pulling for you Double Blue.

I'm feeling the pressure of being tied with ArgoAl.
Speaking of Als, I'm taking Cal over them by 6.
Never taking Toronto again after last week( the Argoes managed to suck all the enthusiasm for the CFL out. of the East Coast with that performance). So, Sask by 14.
BC over Win by 10
Ham over Eskies by 7

They-could-score-a-million-points. Shootout at McMahon tonight is my prediction. Hometown team edges the visiting Larks in the end. That is, unless Frank Burris shows up. He can really ruin a good party. Algarycay by 1.
Don't think that DJE could have said it better in the preview: Dalton Bell will start, but it won't matter (I do think he'll have a good game though). The Riders will be revisited by the spirit that turned the CN Tower green and white in November a few years back. Askatchewansay by 15.
I was hopeful for a resurgent Bomb squad this year, just for the health of the east and the league. Now it's comin' down to the crunch, and I just like Wally and the Lions better and the West better. Ritishbay Olumbiacay by 10.
I really really really really really wanna see Edmonton win one at home. It seems like months since I've been to a game. In fact, I think it has been over a month (I missed the Labour Day rematch). But fuck me if the Hammer ain't had the Esks number for a lot of years. See-saw battle, and a highly entertaining tilt, but in the end, Amiltonhay by 3.

In cleanup mode here.

owlhouse actually picked Edmonton by 7, and gets a single point for the spread. The "Saskatchewan" in the standings was a typo. The point totals are correct.

Montreal caps the comeback with a late TD in Winnipeg, while Saskatchewan powers through Hamilton with a strong second half. B.C. turns some heads in Calgary, but Cleo Lemon causes heads to shake with another rough performance.
Weedy nails the 'Riders game, and stands alone as the only challenger to tommytrump.
This week we're getting in some last inter-division play before the pennant races heat up.
WEEK 14
Montreal @ Calgary (Friday, October 1) In a matchup of division leaders, Calgary will be looking to regroup after stumbling last week, but they picked the wrong team to do it against.
Saskatchewan @ Toronto (Saturday, October 2) Is Cleo Lemon out of chances? Will the Argos make a switch at QB? Will it even matter against the resurgent Roughriders?
Winnipeg @ B.C. (Saturday, October 2) Three weeks ago, Winnipeg seemed on the cusp of contending, while B.C. was down in the dumps. How times have changed.
Hamilton @ Edmonton (Sunday, October 3) Lots on the line here: Hamilton is looking towards a home playoff game, while Edmonton is looking to avoid the crossover. Who has more at stake?
Good luck!
