LeBron James describes his long-time girlfriend and mother of his two kids as his "sidekick" in a magazine interview.

Boy would I pay for that choice of words about the missus.

What the heck is the reason for O'Neill's sudden departure? Hard to believe Lerner is that tight fisted all of a sudden.

Brandon Morrow pitched the most dominant game ever by a Blue Jay. Statistically - it's number 1.

I hope Illitch makes a move on the Lions, also. If there's one owner I'd want to have a monopoly on sports in a city, it's him. He doesn't need the money or headache...he just truly cares about his city, its people, and its sports teams. That, and if he does succeed in buying the Pistons, it'll probably make it easier to sell building a new arena on Woodward for the Wings and Pistons, so that all 4 teams will be downtown again...

I doubt Illitch will ever make a move on the Lions. I can't see the Ford family getting rid of the team anytime soon. Despite William Clay Ford being a terrible owner I believe both he and those in line to inherit the team are passionate about it and don't intend to sell it.

I'm interested to see if Illitch will have the Wings play at the Palace until they get a new arena. The Palace is still a good arena and used to host the Detroit Vipers. It would be somewhat of a shame if the Pistons moved downtown, it is nice having them only ten minutes away.
