After a controversial call with Philly and Florida two days ago and two errors in the 9th by Infante and Chipper giving the Giants a run in the 9th to tie up the game, the Phillies are only one game behind Atl.

Big Al in D.C. finally passes his 300 yard shuttle fitness test.
This is the same test that Mike Golic took and passed....sort of.

Well, to be fair to Haynesworth, Golic might not have been "training" for this, but he's been doing that p90x stuff.

In vuvuzela-related news, I was at Busch Stadium in St. Louis this past Tuesday to watch the Cards game, and a guy sitting behind me had actually brought a vuvuzela to the game. He'd been in SA at the World Cup, so it was the real deal. Those things are LOUD in person.

Allegedly the best pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC, Anderson Silva just had his ass handed to him for five rounds by Chael Sonnen. And won.
Late into the fifth round and a triangle choke from the bottom forced Sonnen to tap.
Not sure "remarkable" is the right word for the fight, as it was mostly one-way traffic for 23 minutes, but I don't think many people outside of Sonnen himself expected him to dominate Silva that way.
