Liverpool Hire Roy Hodgson as Manager: Fulham boss Roy Hodgson was named on Thursday as the new manager of Liverpool, signing a three-year contract. Hodgson, who guided Fulham to the Europa League final last season, has been told the financially strapped club won't be selling off Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.

I think if the Reds can keep Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt and Macherano and add the rumored Joe Cole AND all five can stay healthy this season will be much better than last.

I like the choice. Dalglaish has more emotional appeal but its years since he ran a club.
