Student’s video tribute to Donovan a hit: “Not sure if you guys saw this but it brings tears to my eyes every time,” Donovan wrote on his Facebook account, while linking to Donoho’s video. “Thank you all so much … we can do it.”
Thirty years ago no one believed it could happen on ice and it brought a country together even for those who did not like or understand hockey. There's a long way to go but, "Do you believe in miracles?" Odds against it I'm sure are equal to 1980 but it will be fun. Go USA!!!

You know, if you put anything to the music from "Rudy", I'm going to get misty-eyed.

It's a small world after all.
Apparently mostly located in bars in the continental U.S.

Oh, stop being so picky. It's a good tribute video.
Of course, I don't think the Algerians are quite the Russians, if you're going the whole Miracle on Ice route.

By now, I'm sure you all heard the U.S. was defeated by Ghana.(for christ's sake). Every 4 years the U.S. gets better, and by 2020 it will be common for the USA USA to win this. After all, if nothing else, we are tenacious, and love a challenge.

Ghana won the U20 World Cup last year.
Stay humble, scuubie.

The only way it becomes "common" for the US to win this by 2020 is if the US win the next two world cups, back to back.
Good luck with that.

It is a good tribute video. Too bad my bar in DC wasn't in there, too, but I guess no one had our video. I can't call it the greatest goal in US soccer history, but it may be the most exciting and most memorable.
It amuses me that the caption reads, "Robby Donoho, the popular video's creator, is a senior at Purdue University," and he is pictured in front of the endzone in Ohio Stadium wearing a buckeye necklace.

Kind of disappointed this isn't "Sunshine Superman". Or even "Mellow Yellow".
