Celtics Grab 3-2 Finals Lead: The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers 92-86 in the NBA Finals Sunday, putting themselves one victory of a record 18th championship as the series goes back to Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant scored 38 in a losing effort, while Paul Pierce found his long-range shooting touch again and scored 27. "You don't want to go into LA down 3-2 with two games in LA," said Pierce.

I want to see a montage of all of Kobe's flailing throws (not shots, throws) at the basket from 3-point range.

I swore Boston was good for two wins, but to go up 3-2 is big. I think it's good for everyone if it goes to game seven though ... and the Lakers prevail, of course.

Celtics Grab
Interesting headline .... All the Lakers have been grabbing the last 2 games is Ray Allen.
Derek Fisher is my favorite Laker because of his gritty style, but how can the officiating allow the mugging job he's doing on Ray Allen and then tag Allen for fouls for pushing off? Credit Fisher for understanding what he can get away with and stepping it up a notch each quarter, think the Celtics can get away with the same tactics on Kobe (ya, right!) ?

I loved this crazy play.
Great game overall last night. Even with the Celtics 3-2 lead the series doesn't feel finished heading back to LA for two games. Whoever wins this is going to earn it.

If this was posted earlier I missed it, but watch Paul Pierce do his best Mike Tyson impression.
