Anybody care to wage in on whether or not we don't have an NBA Pick 'em in the locker room is a testament to how interested we are in the NBA in general? Hockey Playoff Pools are big time. NCAA brackets are all the rage in March. But the NBA post-season? Not so much.

Your thoughts?

p.s. anyone surprised by the outcome of last night's Laker-Suns matchup? I know I wasn't.

If the game was in my time zone, I might consider watching it. I can't stay up until midnite watching basketball though.

I think it's at least partly because we're not that interested in the Locker Room anymore. I know I almost never bother to go there.

I had a passing interest in the NBA playoffs until the second round. 3 sweeps??? I'll stick to the NHL, thank you...

It's that bastard huddle's fault.

I think the fact that NBA will start the next round of the playoffs before the previous round was complete makes it difficult to hold a proper playoff pool.

I've never really understood why the NBA does that. If a series goes to a 7th game, why draw attention AWAY from it by starting the next round?

With the exception of the Celtics - Cavs, there's yet to be a competitve series. And if Boston wins tonight, that will hold true for the conference finals as well.

That being said, a Lakers-Celtics finals would be huge, regardless of how it plays in the locker room.

The Lakers and Thunder was both a competitive and enjoyable first round series.

I think the Celtics and Magic will be good. The Magic played really poorly and were still in it at the end. Even if the Celtics win, I wouldn't think this series could be called over that quickly.

Given the problems with people getting their picks on time in the NHL pool with 2 days in between rounds, I wholeheartedly concur. I'd lose my mind trying to run that mess...
