It is a measure of my own cynicism and the age we live in that I'm wondering how Manny's fall from grace will come. Until that day, I love the guy.

Not sure if this counts but a good friend of mine had a toe shot off by overzealous soldiers manning a roadblock on the edge of Manilla during the rebellion that brought GMA the presidency.
