SportsFilter: The Friday Huddle:

Opening day is just around the corner, and here's one book editor's list of the 10 best baseball books. (Caution: It is prefaced by a few words about the Yankee vs Red Sox rivalry, but not so much as to be annoying.) I can't disagree with any of MS Kehe's selections, but I would put her #3 and #4 up to #1A and 1B. I would also add Veeck as in Wreck by Bill Veeck with Ed Linn. This 1962 autobiography is an amusing look at one of the great promoters in the game.
Happy Easter to all. It is a very special day to many of us.
