Potential goal of 2009 : Dragan Stojkovic scores a goal, gets sent off for scoring, then gets an email from UEFA President Michel Platini congratulating him on his finishing.

Not bad considering he's the manager.

Like one of the comments on CBC, I too am struck by the fact that they felt it newsworthy to report how and when the suspended game will be concluded.

Unfortunately, this is just one of those things that "can" happen between the boards in hockey. Fingers crossed for a full recovery for Mr. Brown.

212 NFL players could lose part of free agency rights

Is there any players union that is more incompetent than the one in the NFL?

The NHLPA could give any union a run for the Wreath of Incompentence.

The other unfortunate thing is that there is throat/neck protection available for about 15 bucks.

How many players/officials will have to suffer near lethal injuries on the ice before neck guards become mandatory for more than just the U16 players.
