What's Wrong with Brock Lesnar?: UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been hospitalized and is battling serious health problems related to a bout with mononucleosis, said president Dana White cryptically. "He doesn't want to talk about it publicly, but he's in bad shape. He's not well and he's not going to be getting well anytime soon," said White. "We're going to have to send him to the Mayo Clinic or to Scripps, or one of those really good hospitals to figure out what's wrong with this guy." The MMA site Fightline quotes White dropping more hints: "He's got mono and he's got something else wrong with him. I know what's wrong with him, he just doesn't want me talking about it. He doesn't have cancer or AIDS or anything like this, [but] he's got some problems, man."
This is the first time that I've heard about this. I been a long time Brock Lesnar fan and I do wish him all the best and for a speedy recovery. This is more than just about a sport, this is a matter of his well being and if some people cannot get passed that, then that's something that they're gonna have to sort out for themselves.

The rumor or perhaps an off-color joke going around is that the problem is that everytime an opponent puts his hands on him ... he gets a ....... Sounds like a bad joke, but besides being media problematic, that would be very humiliating.
Say it ain't so, Mr. Dana McMahon.

The people spreading that rumor are geniuses. Fighters wear cups. They wouldn't know Lesnar was excited unless he told them.

The story is going that he has an "intestinal disorder" that could very well be career ending.
Man, can you imagine the pissed off fans if he doesn't defend and drops the belt rather than loses it.
Still, huge shame. Lesnar is the best thing to happen in MMA in ages.

I wonder if he has Crohn's disease, an inflammatory intestinal disorder that nearly ended the career of Jaguars quarterback David Garrard.

I wonder if he has Crohn's disease..
My girl suffers from Crohn's disease but she has it under control. If treated properly, one can continue living their lives normally. If that's the case with Lesnar, he can more than likely continue with his career.

Holy shit!! I knew he had to pull out of the fight, but that sounds very bad!
I know MMA fans hate him (and may I just say to them... Mir is an arrogant dick!) but I would hope none of them would wish this on him. (Though I guarantee some do.)
Have to say I'm shocked by this news.
