Looking good on the locks, Fraze. Looking real good.

Kidding aside, betting is hard, particularly when you are trying to call all of the games. It's one thing for a seasoned gambler to try to pick certain games to make money on, but an whole other thing to try to pick all the games. So good work on the overall 36-26 record against the spread and being in the black in terms of overall take for the year.

Oops. That total for the season should read:

2009 Season Hoser Picks Straight Up: 48-14 Against The Spread: 36-26 Lock of the Week: 1-3 Trifecta: 1-3 Money: $-260

When you said I was making money, I knew that couldn't be true. :P

I am up in real money, though, almost enough to pay for a large soda at Wendy's? How the fuck can a large root beer be $2.49?!?

Have you seen a large soda recently? They're getting dangerously close to Dennis Miller's joke about a 7-11 large soda having "an undertow".

Michael Crabtree can afford one of those large sodas now. He just signed.

I can't think of a better place for an extended holdout guy to report to than Mike Singletary's Hell Camp by the Bay.

Wonder if Crabtree waited to sign to see if the Niners were going to be real or not this year. In that division, the Notre Dame practice squad would be considered real.

A link on the Crabtree signing: here.

The only part of that article I actually read was the part where it said "and rapper MC Hammer even got involved in finally making this happen."

So, to all future teams dealing with holdouts: Stop. It's Hammer time.

The MLB game last night was fantastic. More like that, please.

I questioned the Hoser's pick of Green Bay as his lock when the Bengals seemed like a much better sure thing to kill the Browns. Shows what I know. Greanted, I was right that Green Bay was a questionable lock, but I chose no better.
