Dirk Nowitzki's crazy-ass ex is apparently not pregnant. I'm not sure a man has ever breathed a sigh of relief quite as much as that man will today.

The Dallas Morning News story that revealed her non-pregnancy is weird. It's not clear on whether she lied about being pregnant or miscarried. Considering the possibility of the latter, I thought it was crass for Mark Cuban to tweet: "Good news on Dirks ex. No surprise. can't wait 4 Training Camp." I love Cuban, but he doesn't know when to shut up.

Just heard a great soccer song during the AFC Wimbledon game broadcast -- Mash It Up Harry by Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Lyrics.

My daughter was at her high school's football game last night, and one of the opposing team's fans peed into a bottle and then threw it into the visiting team's stands. What the hell is the matter with some people?

That's ridiculous. What happened in response?

My bad. If I knew that people would be so sensitive about a little pee-projectile, I would've used balloons instead.

In a play I'd never seen before today, the University of Iowa has to block potential game-winning field goal attempts not once, but twice in the last seven seconds of their game against U. of Northern Iowa today. Recap

Video games are always getting the blame. Video games don't throw peejectiles, people throw peejecticles!
