"OK, I’m going to feed you, and I’m going to get you half-looped, and then we’re going to move this restaurant.": The story of long-time spring training fixture The Pink Pony. It can be yours if the price is right.

This is sad. You know the place is going to become a caricature of itself. But, I really admire people who seem to have lived their life to the fullest. I hope when I am in my 70s I have stories to tell that people actually want to hear.

I dream of someday going out for dinner and walking into a place like this. I've managed to find a lot of good places, but none with quite the ambience of The Pink Pony.

bperk, I'm almost 70. Want to sit down for an afternoon and get bored to tears?

Now I have a reason to play the lottery tonight.

Thanks for the link, yerfatma.

I went to spring training a few times in Scottsdale on vacation when I was really young (too young to go to a cool place like this, unless, of course, my parents would have taken me). Too bad I couldn't have experienced it. It's sad places like this really aren't around anymore. Cool story.
