Big money teams, COT & no Dodges in NASCAR chase: A glance at the 12 drivers competing in NASCARs Chase for the Sprint Cup championship, in order of seeding after Sundays Chevrolet 400 at Richmond International Raceway:

The twelve drivers for this years chase come from four teams, Hendrick Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing, Jack Roush Racing, & Joe Gibbs Racing. Meanwhile, Dodge is the only manufacturer not represented in the Chase.
NASCAR wanted parity with the COT & it is still the big money teams making the Chase.
Yes these are all talented & deserving drivers, but the other owners don't stand a chance of being competive for an entire season. It doesen't seem fair to the rest of the teams that four owners take all twelve spots, but that racing.

Well, Doehead, I think talent has something to do with it. Put one of the "also ran" drivers in any of those cars and they would probably still be an "also ran".

As a general rule, you should leave the commentary out of your FPP; present the story on the front page, and your commentary inside.
