high schooler suspended day before sectonals: drinking party is the reason
ranked 2nd in the state I guess makes people think they are above the rules. A young wrestler in Indiana was not allowed to go to sectionals because he was caught at a drinking party (about two or three days before he was to wrestle). The school suspended him because the school itself has a rule that ANY athlete will not be allowed to play for 3 events. not sure what happens to NON athletes but my guess is something along same lines. The kicker to this is that the DAD tried to get an injunction to stop his son from being punished. Father said that son was being punished too severly and that his college offers would suffer. the judge in the case did not allow the injunction and boy did not wrestle. But, another story of a DAD not allowing son to take 'his medicine'
