Winnipeg! They deserve a break. The Winnipeg QB, whoever he is, but I'm guessing it's not Venetian Snares. Under. 50 points is a lot, isn't it? Oh, I don't know, 180? That's about 160 metres in real distance.

Just a reminder: we're still picking point spreads.

'kay ... I'm gonna have to try this again. If I'm not mistaken (the memory is very "fuzzy" still), I've tried to submit my picks previously amidst the booze-fueled Grey Cup celebrations here in Toronto!?!? Anyway, besides goin' on a rant about what a great party is goin' on in Toronto this weekend, here are my picks: Saskatchewan by 13 (Thirteen for the "fan" component that just might be the edge for the Riders in this one) MVP will be Andy Fantuz ... no, it'll be Kerry Joseph ... who am I kidding? I guess it could be Congi too though. But I'll stick with the mob and stay with Joseph. Score will be Over, but not by much. Total combined rushing yards will be 311. Roberts and Joseph alone can do almost all of that.

Sassy by 10 MVP: Charles Roberts Under 195 yards Thanks, Doc; you make Candaian Football gooder!

Well damn. I figured I'd pick the upset since everyone else was going with Saskatchewan. Should have known better...

I think I scored the same number of points as Frisby. Only took all year to get an even week with him.

Not quite as entertaining as last week, as both first-place teams struggled offensively. Toronto just couldn't get it going against an enthusiatic Winnipeg defence, and B.C.'s quarterback situation finally came to a head, with an ineffective Jarius Jackson pulled for an equally ineffective Dave Dickenson. Nobody got the Super Bonus (14 points), so I just left it off the table.
95th Grey Cup: Saskatchewan vs Winnipeg
Sunday, November 25, 5:30 PM EST By now you know the teams, you've read the game preview, you know that anything can happen in a Grey Cup. I can't add anything to that. Except maybe just a reminder than Winnipeg's starting QB broke his arm late in last week's game. The Bonus
Pick the Grey Cup MVP.The Over/Under Bonus
The over/under on the total number of points scored in the Grey Cup is set at 49.5. Pick whether the actual number of points scored will be over or under that number. Overtime counts.Tiebreaker
Pick the total number of rushing yards gained by both teams. This will be used as a tiebreaker only, and is worth no points.Watching The Game
If you're in Canada, it's the CBC, for the last time in who knows how long. If you're in the States, check the broadcast schedule to see if it's on one of your channels. It's usually a game worth the effort of tuning into. (And if you look carefully, you'll see me and Spitztengle in the crowd.) Thanks for another great season, all. Good luck!posted by DrJohnEvans at 01:14 PM on November 21, 2007
