CFL Pick 'Em, Division Finals: Yee-ha! That was some good, ol'-fashioned three-down playoff ball last week. More of the same could be in store this week, but it all depends on you. Make your picks inside.

This has been killing me ... SportSelect has both Toronto and B.C. favored by 6-and-a-half points. And darnit, if that don't sound purdy dang accurate!?!? But, my pre-season pick called for the Riders to playoff against the Bombers in the Grey Cup. And darnit again, if that just might not happen!?!? But now, I gotta put my money where my mouth is. With defence being the buzz word in the Toronto-Winnipeg matchup, this one could boil down to a kicking duel. This game is inside. Prefontaine has to have a slight edge over the suspicious and inconsistent Westwood (despite his big kick last week). Argo special teams also have an edge. Not to mention, they're also playin' for a chance to host the Grey Cup! Yeah, I'd like to see the Bombers pull this one off, but I think the deck is stacked against them. Toronto by 3. Prefontaine kicks for 20 points worth in the process. Lions, with a chance to go back to defend the Cup, and the Riders with a chance to end 18 years of Cup envy ... oooh, this is gonna be a good one! Message to the Lions: mustaches are cheesy. You deserve to lose for no other reason than that. Riders (and fans): don't let this one go to your head. Saskatchewan by 1. Let's get it on!

well, in the early-going at least, it looks like the Argos have a case of the "we could go to the Grey Cup" jitters. and Troy Westwood, of all people, is providing a bit of a spark for the Bombers.

Yeah, the Argos offence looks like it's been on a ten-week layoff. But I think the game is closer than it looks: Bishop's passing has been just slightly off, and there have been a couple of dropped balls. And the Winnipeg TD was a classic example of getting the lucky bounce, as they say in the business. :) I've seen the Argos make some terrific second-half comebacks over the past couple of years, but I've also seen their offence fizzle for four straight quarters. So this could go either way.

I'm scoring zero again, aren't I?

Again, just in case you were wondering: Winnipeg 19 - Toronto 9 Westwood 6 pts/Prefontaine 3 pts (yes, I was WAAAY off on this super bonus). Saskatchewan 26 - BC 17 Congi 14 pts/McCallum 5 pts p.s. owlhouse, I think you nailed the spread in the second game, so no zero for you!

Dang I missed the spread in the Saskatchewan game by one point.

Not bad, eh? Two-point nailbiters ruled the day, though both had very different storylines. A gritty come-from-behind win was clinched by a last-minute field goal for Winnipeg. Saskatchewan's steady lead kept getting threatened by sporadic Burris bombs to the end zone. Different but equally exciting games. East Final: Winnipeg @ Toronto
Sunday, November 18, 1:00 PM EST Great match-up: both teams are coming into this with all cylinders firing. Toronto is coming off a magnificant late-season tear, winning seven games in a row to clinch first for the right to host this game. Their defence is the best in the league, their special teams are right up there, and their offense seemed to finally click in their last game of the season. Plus they know that if they win this game, they're playing in the Grey Cup at home next week. Winnipeg has been running pretty well too: their last two wins have been gritty playoff-style wins. Their defence is second-best in the league, with what is the league's most effective defensive line. But Winnipeg has not enjoyed success at the Rogers Centre this year, scoring only 31 combined points in two losses against Michael Bishop. Still, they have been the class of the East this year and absolutely have a chance to take this game.West Final: Saskatchewan @ B.C.
Sunday, November 18, 4:30 PM EST Another intriguing match-up. B.C. has again been the best in the league, even playing their third-string quarterback. (I've reviewed all the game previews and still can't figure out who's starting for them at QB this Sunday.) But they obviously have a deep, talented team, and they know how to get the job done. Obviously the favourite in this game. But Saskatchewan is not an overwhelming underdog. They have all the tools for a diverse attack, and they actually beat B.C. in B.C. Place this season, one of the very few teams to do so. This game could be a lot closer than we think. The Bonus
