MLB Post-Season Pick 'Em, Final Standings: Congratulations to Folkways and yerfatma, although not necessarily in that order.

So! That's that. Boston sweeps, Lowell's the MVP with a batting average of .400, and the two teams combine for 56 strikeouts. yerfatma wins the strikeout tiebreaker to take home the 2007 SpoFi MLB Postseason Pick 'Em crown. Is there a crown? There should be. Somebody wanna look into that? Oh yeah, congratulations, yerfatma!

At the other end of the chart, Folkways went 1 for 21 overall, picking in all four rounds, to take home a well-deserved Costanza. Congratulations! Thanks for a fun October, everyone. Keep your sticks on the ice and don't forget that the Celtics won't be as good as you expect them to be.

Congrats fatty and folkways. Well deserved honor and accolades in your directions. And big ups to you Doc for running this. Thanks again.

I'm bummed, the one thing I nailed is worthless. Congrats yerfatma. And in case anyone was wondering how the Confidence Pool turned out, the standings are here.

Hey, I just now noticed that I was the only one to pick Boston in a sweep. That alone should be worth 4 points.

And in case anyone was wondering how the Confidence Pool turned out, the standings are here. Good job trox. You actually picked the right teams to go all the way. Nice.

Apoch you just missed winning the Costanza in both the confidence pool and the pick 'em. That would have to be some sort of milestone.

Looking closer at the Confidence Pool, the results for the last two games of the World Series aren't in, but Trox gave the Sox 8 points, so the only thing that changes is how much better Trox did than I.

You know what? Yerfatma kicked my ass in EPL this week and moved ahead of me in the table, so I will not stand for this. I am declaring myself the champion under the following rule changes. 1. While yerfatma was closest to the actual strikeout total his conditional prediction of 7 games renders that prediction stupid. Had the series gone 7 games there obviously would have been 98 total strikeouts. 2. My prediction of 92 in 6 games was obviously more thought out and should be rewarded for the hidden genius it possesses 3. I have decent photoshop skills and can create my own damn trophy.

Thanks Dr John. Even though I'm down the bottom, I think I'm starting to like this baseball thing.

Way to go, yerfatma. I'm happy one of us upheld the honor of the Granite State. May I suggest the "crown" should be a dreaded pink Red Sox cap? Thanks, Dr. John, for running this. It was a lot of fun.
