Spofi EPL fantasy footie: Week 6 update. Only moments before week 7 kicks off. (Hey, I was in Norway, land of Mourinho-booting Rosenborg).

arse. too late to erase it. something mucked up now that we've got 31 rather than 30 players. i mean obviously vagabonds didn't rise 14 places by posting one of the worst scores.

figured it out. catfish changed his manager name from cat fish to c a t f i s h which MUCKS UP the alphebetization in the spreadsheet. so I'll fix it. Don't change it back.

sigh. i think it basically boils down to cabuki and c a t f i s h swapping places in the alphebetical sort, so the easiest solution for me is to just manually change it back to "cat fish" when i put it into the spreadsheet. so, now here is the correct table with added accuracy. I hope.

and the form table.

However you changed it, I still sucked on week 6. This week, with Fabregas in the fold, has been much better. Back in the top 10, I bet. Now, if I could get some consistency in performance. Good to have you back, gspm.

Shit, wrong captain today. Took RvP over Fabregas.

Me too, yerfatma. I was looking at Adebayor more than once yesterday. I really should have bit.

Only 5 points from all of Saturday. Now in free fall.

I was gonna take the four-point hit and transfer Fabregas and Adebayor in. I only got half of that right. Still, you can't sniff at the 32 points from that half.

And a moment's silence for the passing of Marcel Marceau. Thank you.

You have to admire my genius about switching captain to RvP as well as transferring Nani in to replace Malouda. Not that Florent did much today but he at least played and with Teale as my midfield sub... This is a bad season for me, I'm having sympathy selectionitis with Rafa I guess.

Rafa can get bent. I don't what he's on, paying 20mil for Torres and putting him on the bench. That's like buying yourself the latest Porsche and driving it around the block. Once a month. 60 goals this season? I hope Rafa isn't counting the reserve games, too. As one wag said on the BBC bulletin board, "Torres isn't gonna score 20 from the bench." LOL.

And bill: Don't compare yourself to Rafa - that would be too harsh on you. You'd think with the Derby win, he'd have tried the same combo again, to make sure it wasn't a flash in the pan. But he continues his Tinkerman act. I know you run different teams out in different competitions. But c'mon, a team that clicks and slots 6 in, you'd wanna build on that confidence, not switch the guys out. I mean, Torres scores two, shows he's willing to work for the others, take the knocks, and you take him out of the next two games. wtf? Him and Gerrard are the quali-tay, and you want them in the team as long as they're not hurt or tiring. It's not like we're coasting ten points ahead of the competition and hosting the likes of Fulham and Bolton. C'mon, Rafa, shave the beard off and get yer head back in balance!
