CFL Pick 'Em, Week 11: It's the second half of the Labour Day home-and-home. All those who suffered defeat last week are plotting their revenge. Well, all except Hamilton—they're plotting a way to just score points on offence. Make your picks inside.

Many many thanks to apoch for handling things in my absence. In my absence, I only managed to catch the Toronto-Hamilton Labour Day game, and... yikes. Also: WTF Montreal?

Lots and lots of points this week. YYM is charging hard with another nail this week, but MrFrisby comes up with one of his own to maintain a healthy lead.

Miss Labour Day already? Not to worry, it's the second half of the holiday home-and-home! WEEK 11 Calgary @ Edmonton (Friday, September 7) If home field advantage means anything anywhere, it's in Alberta. Hamilton @ Toronto (Saturday, September 8) Back-to-back games against Hamilton are just what Michael Bishop needs to round back into form without being challenged too much. B.C. @ Montreal (Sunday, September 9) I can't comment much on this one because I HAVE NO IDEA what happened last week. Can anybody tell me? Did Calvillo suffer from amnesia and think he was a Lion again? Was he ever a Lion? Probably. Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg (Sunday, September 9) Ladies and gentlemen, your top two teams in the CFL, and your coin toss of the week. Good luck!

Last year, I can within a couple points of winning this thing and I missed at least one week. This year I started on time and MrFrisby, who has yet to start his decline, has almost double my points. You might want to use my picks as a cautionary tale when making your own. Edmonton by 13 Toronto by 20 Montreal by 3 Winnipeg by 4.

More things I don't understand about Canada. Edmonton by 11. The Meech Lake Accords. Toronto by 17. The continuing allegiance to the British Crown. BC by 7. Stephen Harper's in Sydney this week, by the way. Saskatchewan by 3. And Tim Bits.

I thought we still got points for the spread even if we picked the wrong team. Or did we change that? Or am I stoned again? WTF? I only ask becuase I had Edmonton by 10 last week.

TBH, if you pick the wrong team, you only get points for the spread if you've nailed it—no margin points.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification, and welcome back. You know, considering I actually scored more than one point the week you were gone, maybe you should leave more often.

Well, trusty old SportSelect has the forecast for some tight ball games. Calgary, BC, and Winnie are only 2-and-a-half point favorites. TO gets the nod by 10.5. Me? I've got to think that the huge crowd at Commonwealth (of which I'm a vital part, you better believe I am!) has got to play to the EE's advantage. Like the rest of you, I"m pickin' Edmonton to win by a dozen. I think TO will win, but not cover. The Tabbies might have a little bit of a zip in their step after landing the promised one in Casey Printers, but the Big Smoke will hold 'em off. Toronto by 10. Montreal will keep this one close to make it interesting for their home fans, but the Lions are gonna walk outta there with a win and cover. Leos by 3. And, the good ol' Banjo Bowl wouldn't be right if the Bombers didn't take that win by Saskatchewan back this week. Make it all the more interesting if it is indeed a Grey Cup preview. Winnie gonna pooh on 'em and win by 8.
