On paper, I have a good squad, but then again maybe I need to get busy in the market. Jesus, I'm now starting to think like Rafa Benitez.

Less said, the better. Hey, where did my breakdown go? I must have written it, previewed it, but not posted it. Squads that had their best week yet: TX Devils and EnFuego. The pool average of 53.0 is the second highest yet. EnFuego is up 7 spots in two weeks. But he had slid 20 spots in the preceding 7 weeks. Phatcat FC has now topped the weekly scores for the third time, which ties him for the lead with The Clitorati and Salmacis FC (if we extend his history back to before he joined he'd have topped weeks 8 and 19) Phatcat FC's form the last six weeks: 3 29 4 1 3 1. He's finished in the top three 9 times, well ahead of Salmacis FC (6) and The Clitorati, Crap City United, The Lawn Wranglers and ATL Untitled (each 5 times).

And I left 8 points on the bench, forgetting to un-sub my subs that were subbed in the week before. Idiot.

And I left 8 points on the bench, forgetting to un-sub my subs that were subbed in the week before. This works both ways. I put Anelka on the bench after hearing on Sky Sports News on Saturday morning that he was out through injury. Then he plays and scores 8 points. I should just have let the autosubbing do the job for me. Schoolboy error.

I get a nice six from transferring in Wayne Bridge after losing Sonko to season-ending injury and what do I hear today while watching England-Spain but that he (and Ballack) have joined the Chelsea Hospital Brigade? Nice job by 3 Lions, by the way. They sure missed Rooney, Terry, Joe and Ashley Cole, Aaron Lennon, Michael Owen... Micah Richards looks about ready to push Gary Neville out of right back though.

Drogba made up for Ronaldancer's absence. But the best move I made this week was swapping in Hahnemann for Freidel. I hope Gilberto gets a hattrick tomorrow.

Unlike other (two) times when I have been eagerly awaiting points left on the subs bench, I think this time I will actually get them. The two of my midfielders that didn't play would be replaced by a defender and a midfielder. For once that would give me an acceptable formation and I would get the points.
