I'm leading in the most transfers with worst results category. Thank god they don't count the wild card transfers I have this week or I'd really be leading. yerfatma totally caught lightning in a bottle this week and I'm jeal-ous.

Unlike with beer, I have no intention of letting the stuff back out of the bottle.

I'd like to thank Steven Gerrard for finally showing the fuck up. A few more weeks of that, and maybe this sense that the bottom is on the verge of falling out might subside. This week is going to be a killer.

Double-transfer frenzy continues this week. Rooney, you'd better bowl over your old squad. nice work trox, chico and skronk!

This week is going to be a killer. Remember in school when you were really really bad at one subject and it comes down to crunch time and you just hope you can escape alive. That's pretty much how I feel this week into next. I haven't opened the textbook, but I "studied" in my own way and I'm praying I can pull off the miracle. Or just cheat off the person next to me.

Fookin' A. I knew about this short gameweek (15), I planned for this short gameweek, and I completely missed the transfer deadline today. On top of that, my captain (Saha) will likely be out injured tomorrow. This sets a nice trend given I had my captain (Andy Johnson) out injured last week. Dammit.

Saha is doubtful!? Bollocks. Just picked him up.

Saha didn't play today. Thanks very much. And yes, it is bollocks.

Bollocks is indeed a fair assessment. I had to burn eight points in transfers just trying to get 11 fit players for Saturday. Smeagol Moyes may not have picked Johnson last night, but he played for me, because all my subs were injured too.

Arrgh, lackluster week. Really, I'm trying. Anyone know why Vidic didn't play for Manchester United yesterday? Looks like a lot of their better players sat out, Saha included.

I just resigned myself to fielding a partial team this week, which would have been preferable to what wound up happening. Fucking autosub forced me to play Powell, who got negative points. Fuckers. It's a beautiful morning here, and the trees in Central Park are still in full color.

Anyone know why Vidic didn't play for Manchester United yesterday? For clubs competing in Europe, these midweek games always ring in roster changes. Vidic took a knock in the form of an elbow to the face from Drogba over the weekend and apparently Ferguson thought he should rest him, even if he's not officially listed as "injured". Certainly screwed up my move of naming Vidic captain.

And Evra, and his wing pace, made sense because Rooney was the only healthy striker....not that anyone knew that in advance.

Certainly screwed up my move of naming Vidic captain. And they got the clean sheet you were probably predicting. That's a shot to the groin.

And they got the clean sheet you were probably predicting. Bingo. Everton away with no Andy Johnson? On the plus side the auto-sub brought in Primus and he scored a clean sheet and two bonus points, but you don't get double points if your captain doesn't play.

Lame. Of course, if it were automatically applied to the sub chico would be really pissed.
