2006 World Series Confidence Results: Congrats are in order for mkn who never really had to look over his shoulder in this inaugural SpoFi World Series Confidence Pool. Nice job by fritsy and mbd1 in their valiant attempts to catch him, but ultimately, his 7 points on St. Louis proved to be a bit too much for them. As for the Costanza Award, Yukon was in a same kind of boat as mkn; Yukon never really needed to look over his shoulder in his (southbound) boat.
woot. I finally won something here too.

Congrats to the winners at both ends! I'm feeling generous following the results in the pick 'em. This format, however, is less subject to fluke results from know-nothings on the other side of the world. Bugger. Thanks to the organisers, and as I keep reminding you all, watch out for the upcoming Ashes cricket pick 'em.
