I'm done with this transfer thing. My transfer this week cost me 8 points, plus the transfer fee. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have none at all, right?

Best weeks yet: ATL Untitled, Blammos!, FC Hammer, FIFA Rankings, Range Park Queens, Th'All Black (Hand)s, The Clitorati, The Lawn Wranglers The Magyars, Tunbridge Turtles Worst week yet: Phatcat FC Ardley Athletic retakes top spot after two weeks of being humbled on his way to the title. ATL Untitled has been in the top 3 two weeks in a row. Nobody has been able to do that three weeks in a row yet. EnFuego and Crap City United had two week runs earlier. The Clitorati wins a week for the second time (weeks 6 and 9). Which ties him with Ardley Athletic's (weeks 2 and 4). It is obvious that the folk with the most times in the weekly top 10 so far would be the leaders (AA - 8 of 9 weeks, CCU - 7 of 9 weeks). The list of those tied with 5 appearances in the weekly top 10 are FIFA Rankings, EnFuego, Phatcat FC, The Lawn Wranglers, and ATL Untitled. Which is guess is most of the rest of the overall top 10. This week's Start of Something Big award goes to the Middle Pocket Mares for bursting into the top half of the table and getting to 16th, his highest placing yet. Others with their highest placing yet are ATL Untitled, The Lawn Wranglers, The Magyars, The Clitorati.

I would like to thank Mr. Hleb for having a cool name which caused me to draft him (along with a decent looking pre-season performance). Only took 9 weeks for that to pay off. Yukon, you are like a rash I can't shake, which is ironic, considering the case of crotch rot you gave me.

I got a zinc cream that'll clear that right up. Sadly, no cream will soften my sudden free-fall. I was hoping my early success was a sign that I knew what I was doing. But, ah, no.

That Hleb, he's a very good player. (channelling Arsene).

Second straight "best week" for my Tunbridge Turtles. Still a loooong way to go though. Hleb looked great on Sunday. His goal off the give-and-go was beautiful.

Sadly, no cream will soften my sudden free-fall. Good news is that if you keep falling and inevitably get this rash from us, you've already got a remedy.

I didn't drop for the first time in about a month and am no longer on the "Who's Cold" list. Hurray.

I just wanted to make it interesting and drop back to the field. I wish I was that arrogant of a prick. I'll say it again; Holy crap what a bad game week! and Ronaldo, WTF??!?!!!!?!?!?!?! It is a Clitorati conspiracy, says I. And I double-dog dare anybody to call me out for the excessive punctuation. Fun day at the office today, let me tell ya. Nice job, FB! And nice job on the top-1000 in GameWeek6.

This week's Start of Something Big award goes to the Middle Pocket Mares Hmmm. It's so tight there in the middle of the table, that a few points either way can shift you lots of places. However, I am optimistic* that my team is starting to hit some form. *Am I a glass half empty or glass half full kind of guy? I don't know, but that friggin' glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

I was rescued by Capt Thierry. That made up for bloody Ronaldo, who I'd only just bought, being too sick to play. Awww, poor lamb. Now watch as all the Henry doubters start to panic fearing the King is back and blow double and treble transfer points to get him in their teams. Bwahahahaha.

I was rescued ... ... rescued all the way to 4th best on the week. Seems like Arsenal is on now. Arsene suggested that he was not going to change his team even through the January transfer window.

After last week, I was inordinately pleased with myself and naturally assumed my rise to the top would be unstoppable. Either I was complacent and allowed those who better understand the beautiful game to best my poorly-educated selection, or y'all are cheating fuckers. I have to assume it's the latter.

You don't honestly expect me to believe that there's not a vast internet conspiracy against me, do you? I mean, the signs are everywhere!

Come on, nickmark. Just because we're all outside your home, watching you sleep every night, that's nothing you should worry your pretty litlle head about. Just keep shopping, and don't change your PIN number for at least the next few weeks, okay? (And am I the only one who reads the heading as Spofi EPL, FFS?)

Hey nickmark, look at my score and my table position. I not only do not fall into the latter category, it looks like I don't even qualify for the former. But I;m working hard to make that change this weekend. Better understanding, cheating, it's all the same to me. Right now, I'm not very good at either. Better luck this gameweek!

Looks like GW10 is shaping up to be a nice one for my Zizou Headbutters. Two players on the scoreboard, including the captain, and an assist volleyed by Sol Campbell. Plus Liverpool just crushed Villa, didn't they? Three lovely goals put an end to Villa's undefeated record. And how about that goal that involved a Gerrard backheel, Kuyt first-timing it to Crouch, who then turned it on to the onrushing Garcia to slot it past Sorensen? Pure class. Where have these guys been all season?

Bah. 52 pts and I barely made a dent. billsaysthis got a bonkin' 72 pts just for laughs. Freidel better get a clean sheet and score some goals tomorrow. Hah!

Um yeah. Sort of slipped my mind. I copied the data I need so that it isn't lost. It is just a matter of throwing it into the spreadsheet which I will do at home in about 12 hours. At which point I can make the posting and moan that the first player in my subs queue (a defender) got 15 pts while all my players played and for that matter the three defenders I had scored 0, 0 and 2.
