2006 NBA Confidence Pool: Final Results. Unfortunatley the timing of the pool lead to only seven participants, but the competition was still tough. Congrats to smithers who is the winner of the pool, beating the second place holden by one point. Special thanks to qbert for his help in getting the pool up and running.

i don't know what's more disappointing. my performance or that of the mavs. 26 points was the difference between first and fifth? that's some gritty competition. or you could blame parity and expansion. whatever works for you.

Geez Smithers, you're on some kind of a roll here.

I was robbed, I tell ya. Due to the low turnout, this is somewhat akin to be the salutatorian in a class of 3, but I'll proudly display the silver. As to Smithers, let's just say I've heard things about him that would put the 1919 White Sox to shame.

Well, I'm glad to win, but it came at the cost of watching that ugly Mavericks implosion.....and that rat bastard Mourning lift the trophy. Otherwise, I finish in second to holden. That said, woo-hoo!!
