Where's the premierleague.com SpoFi Fantasy update?: Ahem, please, Mr. Calmy. Just missing this past week's update, you know. Ahem.

Thank God for Sean Wright-Phillips.

Man, that SWP would've been the buy of the week. But I'm glad that I gave up the eight points to buy Alonso (7 pts) and Downing (10 pts). A pretty good return on investment. I'm still 5th, but with a strong shot at #3. Bring on the new gameweek!

I finally had a good week...

I had a goodish week but then immediately spoiled it with 3 transfers. It could have been better, but this was the week I chose to take the captaincy off Lampard, who would have got me twenty points and gave it to Pires who got me one. 3 of my bloody players didn't start but came on as late subs while my first sub, who didn't get on, scored loads. I feel like chucking a bowl of soup over someone, moanastrone maybe.

This Manu-Arsenal rivalry is getting pretty cool. Can't wait for the next game.

I watched the game at the Brewhouse in Atlanta yesterday, and it had a World Cup feel to it there (size of crowd, loudness, etc.). As most of you know, I would have preferred a different outcome, but the whole 50 games unbeaten was the least of my concerns since, at the end of the day it's an arbitrary number. Last I checked, 49 is still pretty darned impressive. I'm more disapointed with giving up the points and giving ManU some hope in the league.

I'm glad to see Alonso's 7-point grab today just about paid back my eight-point sacrifice play. Whew. (Of course, I got rid of Garcia, who plundered nine points today. I'm a genius.) C'mon, Downing, get a bloody hattrick tomorrow.
