usfbull, next time someone accuses you of being English, smack them in the kisser. It's the English way. ;-) Glad to hear you're enjoying it. And yes, where's the damn pics?

Not long ago the FHM website had hundreds of pictures of Danish girls snogging one another. Just thought I'd mention it.

I'm not sure what "snogging" is, but unless it's "doing their taxes", I'm all for those pictures.

Neither - those two are from Lesbia - I'm almost sure of it.

(although, strictly speaking, I think someone taking a photograph of that counts as Dutch)

those two are from Lesbia That island is called Lesbos, dude.

I spent my honeymoon on Lesbos, one of the best Greek islands I have visited. Talking of lesbians, Ronaldo has just scored for Portugal.

Holy crap, I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that last comment or else it would have ended up spewing over my keyboard.

Computer was down the last two days and then I got caught up in all the drinking since Portugal has advanced to the finals. DEFINITELY makes this trip better. We watched the Portugal-Holland game in the apartment of an Italian national who lives right in city square. Right after the game, thousands upon thousands of people walked and drove to the center of town and partied. Craziest thing I have ever witnessed. Everyone seems to be great sports as well. The holland fans that I saw wished everyone good luck. We finally called it quits around 4am local time. I have a few people waiting to log on so I have to run, but any suggestions to how I can post pictures? It will have to wait until I am in the States, but I am open. And congrats Worldcup, that job sounds like a dream.

We went to the Denmark~Czech game on Sunday. The atmosphere was incredible. My companions befriended a Denmark girl 2 years ago while travelling, so we were instantly converted to root for the Danes. She told us everything we needed to know about the team. And just an aside, they might be the most beautiful women walking this planet. Since Portugal is still in the tourney, the locals are ribbing us about England (they all think we are English). Whenever someone in an England jersey walks by, the chanting for them to go home is deafening. When we tell them we are from the US they seem very surprised that we are here. It is a very surreal experience drinking Carlsberg and clinking our beer mugs together with the fans. Complete strangers walk up to us and kick the ball around with us and nexthing we know, we are shaking hands and laughing. I definitely underestimated how passionate football fans are in Europe. We will be watching Portugal~Holland in the city square of Lisbon tomorrow, and we have tickets to Thursday´s match. I realize I am rambling here, but just wanted to share the experience and post something.
