Lucky 13!! There's only 13 days left in the SpoFi Fantasy NBA pool, which means it is time for the SpoFi Fantasy NBA 4Q Analyst Report. mbd1's Flying Elbows have crept into first place...will they hold on? Read more inside....

The Flying Elbows are are looking good now that T-Mac has packed it in for The Magic and The Show. My goal a couple of weeks ago was to gun for the fifth spot, but that doesn't look likely. My draft next year will be better! Here are the rules I'll follow: 1. Blacklist anyone with any type of knee injury (Stackhouse, Webber, Van Exel). 2. Pass on anyone that absolutely kills you in one category (Shaq, free throw %). 3. Avoid players that have a reputation far exceeding actual performance (Vince Carter, Tony Parker) What does everyone think about a head-to-head league with playoffs next year?

fucking T-Mac, and Quentin Richardson are costing me my victory!

I've decided to go the way of T-mac, AI, and C-Webb. C-orpse will be taking the rest of the season off to rest up for next year. Buy my jersey.

I dig the description of my team as "balanced" -- for the last couple months, half my squad has been point guards. Next year, maybe I'll take shooting percentages into account.

yeah, I meant that you guys were "balanced" in terms of doing decent in each category....except for shooting percentages (maybe I was drunk this morning?)...

BTW dusted, I would consider the head-to-head...

I'm for head to head. I could barely do any worse than this year. I need to draft with my head and not my heart.

Jesus ... is basketball still going on? I've looked in occasionally this year, but to be honest, my hope that a basketball fantasy league would boost my interest was a miserable failure. I still wouldn't piss on Shaq if he was on fire ... and he's on my team.

w00t! After nipping at jbou's heels for about 3 months now, it's nice to slip into first. There are 11 guys averaging double-doubles, and I managed to draft three of them. I also got lucky with injuries for the most part.

I've been plagued with injuries. Smithers, third place is mine!

What does everyone think about a head-to-head league with playoffs next year? Oh lord, yes. Please. I was all about trying the Roto style but it's so fucking BORING!!!!!!!! Meh.

It wouldn't have been *as* boring if we only had 82 games per position....then some strategy would have been required. I orginally thought roto would've been a good way to play without spending too much time on it, but with the amount of time I was there after all, we might as well play head-to-head. With H2H, do you set your lineup daily or weekly?

If we had a choice, I'd like to be able to change my lineup daily. Setting the lineup a week in advance requires (and rewards) planning ahead, but I like being able to show up whenever to evaluate and plan my team's moves. Plus, I think it will keep people more involved. Miss a couple of deadlines and you'd probably pack it in.

Smithers, you can change your lineups daily in a head to head league. I am in one now.
