Maybe Gerry Faust is available.: The Bucs are starting to seem like that garbage barge from Long Island that wasn't allowed to land anywhere. Their latest scheme is to give Mooch coach and GM responsibilities. Has he earned it or are they just desperate?

Mariucci would be redemption for the Bucs. They need to score big to save face. My guess is that they will throw everything and the kitchen sink to land the Big Mooch. I think he would definitely help the team as a coach; I'm not so sure about the GM responsibility. It seems that coaches lose something when they take on this extra task. Coaches and players normally bond over their mutual skepticism towards the management. When a coach is also a manager, this mentality ("us against them") changes.
