Who wants my Mets tickets for tomorrow night? I'm not kidding. I hate the Mets.

I do not believe no one took you up on this offer. Tsk, tsk. Did you ever find anyone to give the ticket to?

A pity, djacobs, a pity. Maybe more people hate the Mets than I imagined (or, more likely, people avoid the stink of the locker room).

I'd hope people are just having the sense to avoid baseball games. Why go when the most relevant thing you can do is cheer 'go on strike'? The only way for baseball to save itself is for attendance to collapse.

I'm surprised you couldn't get rid of your Mets tickets. Today, I got rid of my Wednesday night Red Sox/Rangers tickets. I've stopped watching the games religiously as well. I figure I need to ween myself off of baseball before my 'supply' gets cut off on 8/30. Occasionally, I slip up -- I need my Jerry Remy fix and I need to see that Aflac commercial with Yogi Berra. I am pretty sure when clinicians describe 'Seasonal Depression' they are referring to Red Sox fans in the late summer. There should be some kind of baseball rehab. Lately, I find myself wandering aimlessly, disillusioned, disenchanted, fatigued, unsure about who is pitching tonight, forgetting the schedule, screwing up stats and trying to figure out who to blame this losing season on.
