Seems like the comment page is breaking currently. Don't know if it's an Apache rewrite issue or if the page is missing, but links currently point to /comments.cfm/[postID]. Aren't they usually more like MetaFilter, e.g., comments/[postID]

I can't reproduce this problem. I was able to post a comment to a front page post, and add a new front page post. And I was able to post here.
