Bowman Ditches Detroit for Blackhawks: Didn't see this coming.
That was my response too, but then I read that his son works for the Hawks. At least there is a reason.

What was Scotty really doing with the Wings anyway? Seemed to me to be more of a ceremonial position than one of an actual difference-maker, and I suspect it will be the same with the Blackhawks. The Wings still have the best front office in the sport.
